This site is aiming to gather together lyrics of songs relating to British and Irish waterways. Tunes and/or chords will be included where possible. This is an area which is in need of expansion as my ability to put the tadpoles on the telephone wires is limited. Contributions of tunes/chords would be most welcome. Small snippets of recordings are included to give a better idea of the song where these are not currently commercially available or, if they are, with details of where the full recording can be purchased. Additional explanatory or historical information about the songs will also be included when it is known, along with links to appropriate web-sites. Contributions from song-writers who might wish to make their songs available to others would be most welcome.
